ZUGFeRD test invoice
Fill in an invoice and receive a ZUGFeRD / XRechnung e-invoice: PDF/A-3 with embedded EN 16931 XML. Test data only.
What is ZUGFeRD?
ZUGFeRD is the German-French standard for electronic invoices, identical to Factur-X in France. A ZUGFeRD invoice is a PDF/A-3 that people read like any PDF, with the invoice data embedded as XML according to the European standard EN 16931, so accounting software can book it without retyping. The XRechnung profile is required for invoices to German public authorities. In Germany, businesses have had to be able to receive e-invoices since 1 January 2025; the obligation to issue them follows in stages until 2028.
With the ZUGFeRD test invoice above you see it in practice: every submission is turned into a valid e-invoice. Companies without their own invoicing software can design their invoice template on the eForms Server and send compliant invoices this way.

Is there a digital Meldeschein for hotels?
Yes. The sample "German hotel registration (Meldeschein)" shows the registration form for guests under §§ 29 and 30 of the German Federal Registration Act (BMG). Guests fill it in on a tablet at the reception or on their own phone and sign by hand on the screen; the hotel receives a sealed PDF and the data as XML. Since 1 January 2025 the form is only required for foreign guests.
Can I test the sample forms without an account?

What happens to the data I enter in a sample form?
It is turned into a sealed PDF and sent to the e-mail address you enter and to the form owner. The server does not keep a copy. Please use test data only.
